LESSON PLANS

Each lesson is two hours long. The lessons are fun and active, with children participating in a variety of reading-related activities. In each lesson, students independently read and discuss an Easy Reader, receive formal phonics instruction, participate in oral fluency training, and play games to reinforce phonics and word attack skills. The teacher also works with each child individually to determine his or her book level.
