BOOKS AND MATERIALS

Books for Independent Reading

Easy Reader Books

In each lesson, children practice independent reading in a great Easy Reader 2, while the teacher provides individual support. Students also receive two Easy Readers (an Easy Reader 1 and an Easy Reader 2) for home practice. During the first week of the program, parents complete a brief questionnaire that provides feedback about their child’s experience reading each book. This feedback augments information gathered in class by the teacher, and informs the teacher’s Book-Level Recommendation.
